A road near Ripon that only recently reopened due to roadworks will close once again this month.
Dishforth Road – the main arterial route between Ripon and Thirsk – will close for 15 days, Monday to Friday, from March 23.
Signs at the roadside say it will be shut between 7.30am and 5pm. North Yorkshire Council’s interactive roadworks map says it will reopen after 5pm on April 14.

The closure, which the council has attributed to highway repairs and maintenance work, comes just weeks after the road was shut for 53 days.
As reported by the Stray Ferret in January, the road was due to be closed between January 12 and March 6 for mains replacement.
The work took place on the road near the Copt Hewick turnoff.
Yorkshire Water also undertook two months of rolling roadworks on Dishforth Road in April last year to replace 4.5km of water mains in the centre of Dishforth.
It followed 12 burst mains in the area over the last five years, which led to frequent - and often short notice - road closures.
