The Stray Ferret has been sent dramatic eyewitness photos of today's bomb scare on Victoria Avenue in Harrogate.
Several streets were cordoned off and Harrogate Magistrates Court and St Peter's Church of England Primary School were evacuated late in the morning. Emergency services remained at the scene until after midday.
We were sent images by a reader, which showed a car parked on Victoria Avenue outside the court being searched. Those, along with others taken by our reporters, are shown below.
North Yorkshire Police has only issued a brief statement about the incident. It said:
