Driver hospitalised after three-car pileup on A1(M) near Knaresborough

Police are appealing for information after three cars crashed on the A1(M) near Knaresborough.

A white Tesla, a white Mercedes Sprinter and a white Volkswagen Transporter collided at around 11.19am on July 24, just before Junction 47 northbound.

The driver of the Tesla was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment following the incident.

North Yorkshire Police said in a statement today officers were ‘particularly interested’ in speaking to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, seen the vehicles prior to the collision, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage.
