Event to be held in Harrogate on local transport plan

Harrogate district residents are being given the opportunity to have their say on the future of transport across the area.

The Great Harrogate Transport Fair is taking place on Tuesday (September 22), and will give local people a chance to come together with transport organisations, community groups and politicians.

The event aims to give people a chance to ask questions about York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority's Local Transport Plan, which covers transport investments and priorities across North Yorkshire.

Between 5pm and 7pm, visitors will have the chance to learn about transport options, ask questions and get advice from professionals on how to make the most from the offerings the area has.

From 7pm, the mayoral team will share details of the Local Transport Plan and answer questions.

People are invited to attend at any time that is convenient, and do not need to stay for the full event.

The free event will take place at the West Park Centre on Victoria Avenue.
