An investigation is to be carried out after firefighters were called to a blaze at a home in Ripon last night (February 18).
Two crews from Ripon and one crew from Masham responded to a report of a fire at a property on Kirkby Road at 10.40pm.
According to North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service’s incident report, the firefighters deployed three hose pipes, as well as thermal imaging cameras and lighting to tackle the fire.
No details of the extent of the damage have been provided but the incident report concluded:
“The cause is to be investigated by fire investigation officers.”
