Three police officers have been treated for injuries after their van was involved in a collision in Harrogate.
The incident, which was reported at 5.32pm yesterday (September 23), happened on Beckwith Road near the junction with Otley Road — close to the police station.
It involved a Peugeot Expert marked police van and a black Ford Fiesta car, which overturned onto its roof.
The woman driving the Fiesta was taken to hospital by ambulance with an arm injury. A police statement said her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, and described the police injuries as ‘minor’.
The statement added:
Witnesses or motorists with relevant dashcam footage are asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting reference NYP-23092025-0389.
Road closures were put in place while the emergency services worked at the scene. It reopened at 7.50pm.
