House music lovers came out in their droves yesterday (September 6) to celebrate the return of Harrogate’s Love to Be Festival.
Thousands of people packed the Oatlands Drive section of the Stray to dance the day away, with sets from dance music legend Armand Van Helden, Trimtone, The Shapeshifters and more.
When the Stray Ferret arrived, the Music Factory Stage – a nod to former nightclub The Music Factory in Sheffield, where Love to Be started – was flooded with ravers enjoying TV personality-turned-DJ Gok Wan’s set.
There were three stages, a large VIP area, fairground rides, bars and food stalls and even a confession box.
The dancing was endless and people were smiling from ear-to-ear. Harrogate's second Love to Be Festival appeared to be another big hit.
