Ripon has turned red, white and blue as the city prepares for a patriotic party on Thursday evening to celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
Around Market Square and on the nearby streets, the bunting, alongside knitted decorations with a tea-time theme, can be seen on everything from bus station railings to the bandstand in Spa Gardens.
The town hall has new curtains and the life-size replica tank, created through thousands of hours of tireless work by Ripon Community Poppy Project and the city's Men's Shed, stands guard.
On Thursday (May 8) between 6pm and 9.30pm, Ripon City Council has organised a free-to-attend VE Day 80th Anniversary event that will include:
Attendees will also be able to see and hear the setting of the watch ceremony at 9pm, carried out by a member of the city's hornblowers team
