Sara Cox entered the Harrogate district today (November 13) on the penultimate day of her epic fundraising challenge.

The Radio 2 presenter is running 135 miles in five days to raise money for BBC Children in Need.

The challenge sees her take Pudsey bear from Kielder Forest in Northumberland to Pudsey in West Yorkshire.

Sara started in Richmond today and winded her way through Masham, Grewelthorpe, Kirkby Malzeard, Grantley and Sawley. She is expected to finish in Ripley at about 8pm.

TV presenter Jeremy Vine said he was getting a train to York and would then head to Ripley to surprise Sara.

She is expected to spend the night there before passing through Killinghall and Beckwithshaw tomorrow on her way to West Yorkshire.

Here are some pictures of Sara's run today. All were taken by the BBC.
