Gallery: thousands turn out to see motoring history in Harrogate sunshine

Thousands of visitors came to Harrogate today to see more than 60 antique vehicles and a dazzlng line up of super cars and hyper cars. 

The cars from both ends of motoring history were displayed in the town centre as part of the Harrogate Concours. The modern cars were sponsored by local company Apollo Capital  and parked outside the Yorkshire Hotel on red carpet. The antique cars, some of the earliest cars ever made, were parked in James Street and were taking part in The Yorkshire Veteran Car Run 2026. 

At 3pm there was a noisy grand depart as the cars left in a parade. You can see it here on our Facebook channel.
