Graffiti outbreak in Knaresborough sparks police appeal

North Yorkshire Police has issued an appeal following a spate of graffiti in the Knaresborough area.

The tags were found in various areas throughout the town yesterday (May 14) morning.

According to a police statement today, graffiti was found at the following locations:

  • Kirkgate
  • Thomas the Baker in Market Place
  • Chapel Street
  • Waterside
  • Nidderdale Drive
  • Farndale Road
  • Entrance to Knaresborough Castle

Anyone with information is urged to contact 101, quoting reference number 12250086766, or report anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
