The Lime Tree Inn, a gastropub in Great Ouseburn is seeking new operators.
Leisure property firm Fleurets is advertising for someone to take on a 10-year lease on behalf of landlord Matthew Gath.
The inn's previous operators were husband-and-wife team Rob and Heloisa Mitchell, who secured a place in the Michelin Guide for the first time in January.
The inn, which is currently closed, also includes seven en-suite rooms, a two-bed flat, and a 45-space car park.
It has been listed at a guide price of £59,500 per year.
The venue earned two AA Rosettes as well as a place in the Michelin Guide. It was also included in the Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropubs and featured on Channel 4’s Four in a Bed reality game show.
Simon Hall, director and head of agency north at Fleurets, said:
This is an incredibly rare opportunity. The Lime Tree Inn was a new build in 2020, developed to exacting standards and taken on by its first tenants who went on to achieve national recognition. With its strong foundations and established reputation, this property offers huge potential for a new operator to step in and continue its growth story.
