Greggs makes bold statement at Hookstone opening
Greggs made a bold statement at Plumpton Park in Harrogate today with the opening of a new bakery.
Visitors to the retail park, off Hookstone Chase, are greeted by a large sign advertising the store.
The bakery itself is surrounded by balloons, and 10 customers were queueing when the Stray Ferret visited shortly before 9am.

The store is based at the Morrisons petrol station, and there is a jet wash and car wash to the rear.
Motor Fuel Group, which owns the site, received planning permission to extend the site and create new jet washes in September last year.
The company acquired 337 Morrisons petrol forecourts, including the one at Hookstone, in April 2024.
There are now six Greggs in the Harrogate district, with three of them in Harrogate.
