New Harrogate and Knaresborough MP Tom Gordon has announced plans for a four-day ‘summer tour’ to meet constituents.
Liberal Democrat Mr Gordon, who was elected last month, will host pop-up events in towns and villages during the week beginning August 19.
In a media release announcing the news today, he said he aimed to talk to as many residents as possible so he can do the best job possible of representing them.
Mr Gordon said:
I’m embarking on a summer tour of towns and villages, big and small, because I want to get out and about to hear about the issues that matter to local residents and act on them.
All my stops on the tour will be outside, so you’ll be able to come up and say hello without the need to book in advance.
