Harrogate Fire Station’s open day event is set to return next week.
The annual event will see Skipton Road fire station open its doors on Sunday, August 18 from 10am to 3pm.
Hundreds have attended the event in previous years to see behind the scenes of the fire service.
Next week visitors will be able to see fire engines, police vehicles and the fire bike.
There will be demonstrations, a chance to learn first aid with St John Ambulance and an opportunity to speak to members of North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service.
The open day offers a range of family activities, including an F1 Simulator, bouncy castles, facepainting and drawing. Refreshments will also be on offer throughout the day.
The event is free to attend but guests are asked to bring cash for the activities. All proceeds made on the day will go to The Firefighters Charity.
