Harrogate man charged with child sex offences
Harrogate Magistrates Court.
A Harrogate man appeared in court yesterday (February 20) charged with two child sex offences.
Benjamin Binstead, of Haywra Street, was accused of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child and attempting to cause or incite a girl aged 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity.
Court documents allege both offences took place in April 2022.
The case was transferred from Harrogate Magistrates Court to York Crown Court, where the 26-year-old will appear on March 24.
