A Harrogate man has denied a number of assault offences.
Michael Sutcliffe, of Woodfield Road, appeared at York Magistrates Court on Saturday (April 26) charged with two counts of assault by beating and one count of assaulting a person causing actual bodily harm.
He denied all of the charges.
Mr Sutcliffe is alleged to have assaulted a named woman on April 3 by beating her.
Court documents claim the 39-year-old defendant assaulted the same woman between April 19 and April 24, causing her actual bodily harm.
Documents also allege he assaulted the woman on April 24.
The case was adjourned for trial, which will be held on June 12.
