A Harrogate man has been found guilty of breaching a restraining order.
Carl Ingles, of Skipton Road, pleaded not guilty to harassment (breach of restraining order) on December 30, 2024.
But he was found guilty when he appeared at York Magistrates Court on Monday (April 28).
According to court documents, Ingles breached a restraining order, which was imposed against him in 2018, when he attempted to contact a named woman on Christmas Eve last year.
The 46-year-old defendant was prohibited from contacting the woman under the conditions of the restraining order.
The case, which was committed to York Crown Court for sentence, was adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
Ingles will be sentenced on May 21.
