Harrogate man jailed after breaching restraining order
A Harrogate man has been jailed for breaching a restraining order.
Adam Snowdon, 34, was sentenced at York Magistrates Court on Monday (June 15) after admitting the offence at a previous hearing.
Snowdon, who was sentenced to prison in his absence, breached the order by contacting a named victim on Parliament Street on May 10 this year when he was prohibited from doing so.
Court documents said the restraining order was imposed by York Crown Court in September 2023.
Magistrates sentenced Snowdon, of Otley Road, to 14 weeks in prison.
A warrant was also issued for his arrest for him to be brought back before court to confirm the sentence.
