Harrogate Magistrates Court on Victoria Avenue.

A Harrogate man has pleaded guilty to possessing indecent images of children.

David Clark, 36, of Silverfields Road, appeared before Harrogate Magistrates Court yesterday (August 22) where he spoke to confirm his name, date of birth and address.

Clark admitted possessing four category C images of children on August 13, 2023.

Alison Whiteley, prosecuting, told the court Clark was arrested at his home address, where a Samsung Galaxy phone was seized.

Ms Whiteley said the images, which were found on the phone, were of females between the age of 14 and 16.

Andrew Tinning, defending, requested that magistrates adjourn the case for a pre-sentence report to be produced — which they agreed.

Magistrates adjourned the case for sentencing on October 10, 2025, at Harrogate Magistrates Court.
