The Harrogate EE shop plans to relocate to larger premises on Cambridge Street.
The network provider has submitted plans to North Yorkshire Council to operate at 6-8 Cambridge Street, next to its current premises at 4 Cambridge Street.
The site it plans to move to was for many years the Carphone Warehouse premises.
A spokesperson at EE, which part of the BT Group confirmed the move today. They said:

The plans submitted to the council for the EE shop front.
Building work is taking place at the site after York-based GHT Developments submitted plans to build eight flats on the upper floors above number 6 to 14 Cambridge Street, as the Stray Ferret previously reported last year.
Card Factory still trades at the site but the former Phone Patch and Phone Doctor units, which could become the new EE store, have closed.
