A Harrogate restaurant has confirmed it has closed for good after the company that owns it went into liquidation.
The Stray Ferret reported this month that San Saranda Ltd, trading as Saranda Bar and Grill had gone into liquidation.
The restaurant now has a notice on the door to its premises on Station Bridge, which says:
Sorry we've permanently closed. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Saranda Bar and Grill, which opened on Station Bridge in 2018, served Greek, Albanian and Mediterranean meat, seafood and à la carte dishes.
It won Restaurant Guru awards in 2021 and 2022 for Best Atmosphere in Harrogate.
The venue closed in October 2023 due to rising costs and issues with staffing, but reopened in March before permanently closing.
According to public record journal The Gazette, West Yorkshire based liquidators O’Haras were appointed liquidators on July 4.
