A Harrogate restaurant is to relaunch as a Mediterranean bar and grill.
The Agora, which is currently a Greek and Turkish restaurant on Victoria Avenue, will close from January 1 to 8 for staff training and the launch of a new menu.
The venue, which for many years was a Greek restaurant known as Taverna, will reopen on January 9 as The Agora Harrogate Mediterranean Bar and Grill.
Owner Mason Elyasi said guests who booked in advance via the restaurant’s Facebook page would be eligible for 50% off the total food bill during the soft launch from January 9 to 11.
He added:
“The Agora will be serving authentic Italian style pastas and pizzas, alongside Mediterranean charcoal grilled dishes, complemented by an exciting selection of cocktails and wines.”
