A young Harrogate rugby player has been named in Scotland’s under-18s training squad.
Emily Barber, who plays for Harrogate RUFC, was selected as one of 37 names to take part in the national team squad.
The young rugby player was the first name on the squad list in an Instagram post posted to the Scottish national team’s page yesterday.
The training squad will prepare for the under-18 Six Nations Festival, which will take place in April.
In a social media post on Harrogate RUFC's Facebook page, they said:
What a fantastic achievement. It’s safe to say everyone at the club is extremely proud of what you have achieved and are glad to have been a part of your journey.
Keep up the hard work.
