Harrogate Town have completed the signing of Burnley goalkeeper Sam Waller.
Waller, who has signed on a contract until the end of the season, becomes Town’s second deadline day signing.
The 22-year-old signs from Burnley having spent the first half of the 2025/26 campaign on loan at Crewe Alexandra, making 11 appearances for The Alex.
The Stockport born stopper has also enjoyed loan spells with Lancaster, Hyde and Rochdale during his time with the Clarets.
Simon Weaver, Town manager, said in a press statement:
We started the process of bringing a new goalkeeper in straight away after getting on the bus after Crawley and are really happy to have been able to bring Sam in.
He’s had good experience at Rochdale and Crewe and brings with him some vitality to that position. He’s well up for it and performed well at Crewe this season.
Waller is available for Tuesday night’s fixture against Swindon Town, subject to FA and EFL approval.
