Harrogate Town will play newly promoted Bromley in the opening fixture of the 2024/25 season.

Town will welcome the south-east London side to Wetherby Road on August 10.

Bromley secured a historic promotion to League Two after beating Solihull Moors on penalties in the National League play-off final in May.

It’s the first time the club has been promoted to the Football League in its 132-year history.

The fixture will open Town’s fifth season in League Two.

Meanwhile, Simon Weaver's men will host Doncaster Rovers on September 14 at the Exercise Stadium for the first Yorkshire derby of the season.

Town will then welcome Bradford City to Wetherby Road two weeks later on September 28 for another all-Yorkshire clash.

Harrogate will travel to Valley Parade for the return fixture on February 8.

A trip to Grimsby Town is in store for Boxing Day, while Salford City will visit Wetherby Road on New Year’s Day.
