A Harrogate woman has been accused of racially harassing two men.
Chelsea Watson, whose address is listed as both Poplar Grove and Park Terrace in Harrogate, has been charged with two counts of racially or religiously aggravated harassment without violence.
Her case was heard at York Magistrates Court on Saturday (January 31).
According to court documents, Ms Watson racially abused a named man – allegedly calling him a racial slur – last Thursday (January 29).
On the same day, she is alleged to have called another named man a racial slur.
Both offences allegedly occurred at Fern House, a North Yorkshire Council-owned homeless hostel on Spa Lane in Starbeck.
No pleas were entered and the 34-year-old defendant is due to appear at Harrogate Magistrates Court on February 13.
