A Harrogate bar has launched a rebrand less than a year after opening.
Formerly known as Locus Bar, the Cheltenham Parade establishment has rebranded as Hidden Lounge.
As part of the move, the bar has expanded its drinks menu and introduced live music nights with 70s and 80s music.
Natasha Murray, manager at the Hidden Lounge, said:
We decided to rebrand as we realised that our original concept didn't fully capture the essence of what we wanted to offer. We decided to rebrand because we wanted to connect the bar's identity to its interior. 'Hidden Lounge' gives a sense of mystery to the venue.
The new venture, which is on the site of the former Bijou & Wild bar, held a launch event for the rebrand featuring live music and guitar from Harrogate singers Dave DB and Oliver Vawdrey, to celebrate its opening.
The refreshed menu showcases a range of specialist cocktails, including the 'Giant Miami Vice' and their watermelon margaritas.
Natasha added:
Our opening night was a huge success and we got a lot of positive feedback from new and old customers.
Flavia, the owner, and I are thrilled with the direction the bar is heading as we have worked hard to get it where it is.
Locus Bar originally opened in November last year. It was the brainchild of Flavia Milovi, who ran the establishment alongside bar manager Natasha Murray.
It was named after a Leeds establishment owned by Flavia's business partner, Gerti Masllavica.
