A Knaresborough man has admitted to breaching a restraining order.
Robert Nelson, of Nora Avenue, yesterday (September 15) pleaded guilty to one count of harassment – breach of a restraining order on conviction at York Magistrates Court.
According to court documents, Nelson emailed, called and sent WhatsApp messages to a named woman without reasonable excuse between March 25 and September 13 this year.
Nelson was made subject to a restraining order at York Magistrates Court on March 25, meaning he was prohibited from contacting the woman.
Court documents add Nelson, 39, also breached a suspended sentence order by committing the offence.
The case was transferred to York Crown Court, where Nelson will be sentenced on October 7.
