A Knaresborough man has been arrested for drink driving and possessing class A drugs at Flamingoland.
North Yorkshire Police said in a statement security staff at the theme park in Kirby Misperton called on Saturday (August 30) to report a man behaving aggressively.
Officers arrested the 45-year-old man, who has not been named, after he provided a roadside breath test of 83 micrograms of alcohol per 100ml of breath. He was also arrested for possessing drugs.
In custody, he provided an evidential reading of 66 micrograms of alcohol per 100ml of breath. This is almost twice the legal limit of 35 micrograms.
The man is due to appear before Scarborough Magistrates Court on September 15 for driving over the alcohol limit and possessing a Class A drug.
