Leeds Bradford Airport has announced direct flights to two Egyptian airports.
The local airport today (December 3) confirmed Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will operate “year-round weekly services” to Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada from February 2027.
A spokesperson for Leeds Bradford Airport told the Stray Ferret no other airlines currently operate flights between Leeds Braford and Egypt, but Jet2 is reviving its Leeds Bradford-Sharm El Sheikh service, which were terminated around a decade ago.
The new flights will be the first to operate between Leeds Bradford Airport and Hurghada.
The Stray Ferret has asked the airport what days the Egypt flights will operate. We will update this story when we have an answer.
