A Ripon and Harrogate home care company has gone into liquidation.
CW & DK Limited, which operated Blossom Home Care in Ripon and Harrogate, was based at Sycamore Business Park, Dishforth Road, Copt Hewick.
Director Darren John Kacis called a creditors' meeting on November 18, after which Simon Weir and Tom Riordan, of Wakefield-based DSi Business Recovery, were appointed joint liquidators.
A resolution to wind-up CW & DK Limited was passed on the same day.
Blossom Home Care, which is based at Northallerton, provides care-at-home services for families across the UK.
There are 29 Blossom Home Care offices in England and Scotland, run on a franchise basis.
The Care Quality Commission rated Blossom Home Care Harrogate and Ripon as 'requires improvement' in a report published in July this year.
The CQC report said the "provider was in breach of the legal regulations relating to safe care and treatment and governance".
The report added 37 people used the service.
The Copt Hewick site is believed to be still operating.
A statement of affairs posted on the Companies House website said the company had assets of £36,200 and owed 23 creditors a total of £500,473.
The biggest creditors were listed as 'employee claims' and HMRC, which were owed £153,081 and £151,286 respectively.
The Stray Ferret contacted the company for comment, but has not had a response.
