Outdoor activities business Live For Today is to open another activity centre in the Harrogate district.

The company, co-owned by Marc Wise and Dan Miller, was founded in 2012 and already has sites at three locations.

It took on the climbing centre at Hornbeam Park in Harrogate this year to add to its operations at Ripley Castle and Hazlewood Castle, Tadcaster.

Now the company has announced a new venture at Swinton Park Hotel, near Masham, which will open in January.

The announcement on social media said:

This will be our fourth venue, and as always, we’re ready to provide exciting adventures for couples, friends, families, and corporate groups.

We’re looking forward to an incredible adventure and are excited to be part of the future at Swinton estate.

The new centre will offer a range of outdoor activities including archery, axe throwing, paddle boarding and bushcraft.

The announcement added that the company's current escape rooms at Ripley Castle will be revamped and relocated in spring.

An exact opening date for the Swinton centre has not been announced yet.
