Man arrested after indecent exposure incident in Harrogate

A man has been arrested after an indecent exposure incident in Harrogate.

North Yorkshire Police said the incident, which happened between Woodfield Road and Nidderdale Greenway, occurred at around 4.30pm on May 19.

The force issued an appeal for information at the time, but yesterday (June 19) said a 21-year-old man had been arrested on Tuesday (June 17).

The arrest followed extensive CCTV enquiries and information provided by a witness, the police statement added.

The man has since been released under investigation.
