Man charged with child sex offences in Harrogate
A man has been charged with a string of alleged child sex offences in Harrogate.
Timothy Fletcher appeared before Harrogate Magistrates Court on Thursday (September 24) where he spoke to confirm his name, date of birth and address.
Mr Fletcher, 42, was charged with arranging to cause or incite a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity involving penetration.
He was also charged with two counts of arranging to commit sexual activity in the presence of a child or cause the child to watch a sexual act.
Mr Fletcher, of Towton Avenue in York, also faced a charge of arranging to cause or incite a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity not involving penetration.
All alleged offences happened between June 20, 2023, and August 18, 2023, in Harrogate.
Magistrates adjourned the case to York Crown Court, where Mr Fletcher will appear for a plea and trial preparation hearing on October 26, 2026.
