Man denies assault in Harrogate
A man has been charged with assault by beating in Harrogate.
Paul Tierney, 51, appeared at Harrogate Magistrates Court on Thursday (July 9) where he spoke to confirm his name, date of birth and address.
Mr Tierney, of Heckmondwike in Kirklees, was charged with assault on a named victim at an address on Lincoln Grove in Harrogate.
The 51-year-old denied the charge.
The court adjourned the case for a trial, which will be held on September 29, 2026, at Harrogate Magistrates Court.
