A man has denied causing serious injury through careless driving in Harrogate.
John Barker, 76, of Knox Road, appeared before York Magistrates Court on Saturday (August 8) where he pleaded not guilty to the alleged offence.
According to court documents, Mr Barker was charged with causing serious injury to a named victim on Skipton Road near the junction with Dragon Road after driving without due care and attention.
The alleged offence happened on December 15, 2025.
The court adjourned the case for trial at Harrogate Magistrates Court on October 16, 2026.
