A man has denied two offences, including wounding, that are alleged to have happened in Harrogate.
Brian Munns, of Tealbeck Approach in Otley, appeared at Harrogate Magistrates Court on Friday (August 8).
He pleaded not guilty to one count of wounding or inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent and one count of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
Mr Munns allegedly unlawfully and maliciously wounded a named man, causing him grievous bodily harm, on Otley Road on April 11.
The 63-year-old is also accused of possessing an offensive weapon – a screwdriver – at the same time.
A trial date was set for November 27, when Mr Munns will return to Harrogate Magistrates Court.
