A man remains seriously injured in hospital after being struck by a bus in Harrogate last night (February 11).
North Yorkshire Police closed a section of North Park Road for several hours so officers could investigate and arrange for the bus to be removed, as reported here by the Stray Ferret.
In a statement this morning, the force said it was appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.
The statement added:
It happened at around 5.30pm on Wednesday, February 11 on North Park Road in Harrogate.
The collision involved a bus and pedestrian. The injured pedestrian, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
The road was closed for several hours for collision investigation work to take place.
