A Masham butchers has announced it will close its doors for good at the end of the week.
W.S. Rogers and Son, on Church Street, said in a social media post that it will be “trading this week for the final time”.
The independent butchers sells freshly cut meat, such as pork, chicken and beef as well as pies, pasties and cakes.
But, now it says that all stock must go.
The social media post thanked its customers for their support. It said:
I just wanted to give a big massive thank you to all customers that have continued to support us through the hard struggling times and the normal times. It has been a great pleasure to serve you all.
It is so sad to see Rogers go, but unfortunately, we will be closing down, and all stock must go. We will be trading this week for the final time and will be closed at the end of this week.
So sorry to all customers and so sad to have to write this post. I wish all customers well and hope to see you out and about in Masham. All my love, Leah.
