McDonald's staff member assaulted and racially abused in Harrogate

A member of staff at McDondald's in Harrogate was beaten and racially abused, police said today (September 26).

According to a North Yorklshire Police statement, the incident happened at 6.48pm on August 1 at the fast-food restaurant on Cambridge Road. 

The statement said a man assaulted a member of staff and was racially abusive towards them. No details of the extent of injuries was revealed.

The statement added:

We’re particularly appealing for information to trace this man as he may have information that could help our investigation.
