New planning application adds detail to plans for three new houses in Hampsthwaite
The construction of three new houses in Hampsthwaite looks set to move a step closer, after a reserved matters planning application was submitted to North Yorkshire Council.
The five-bedroom stone-built properties will have solar panels will be built on land off Brookfield Fold.
Outline planning permission for the houses was granted in September 2023 in spite of five public objections, but there were conditions attached.
These concerned parking, electric charging points, and various environmental matters – which are addressed by the current application.
The standard consultation expiry date is Sunday, September 13, and council planning officers aim to issue a decision by Monday, October 12 – four weeks later.
