Grantley Hall, the five-star hotel near Ripon, has opened a new lunch restaurant.
The River Terrace, which has views over the River Skell, is an extension of the Norton Courtyard, which opens its terraces for outdoor dining during the summer months.
The restaurant is the latest addition to Grantley Hall's dining repertoire, which includes the Michelin-starred Shaun Rankin, British Fletchers Restaurant, Asian fusion bar-restaurant EightyEight, and The Orchard, which this summer is working on a new menu in partnership with champagne producer Veuve Clicquot.

Monica Czop, food and beverage manager at Grantley Hall, said:
We are incredibly excited to introduce The River Terrace at Grantley Hall for our guests to enjoy laid-back lunches or an additional pre-dinner drink option this summer.
The River Terrace exemplifies our commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences right in the heart of North Yorkshire and further enriches the gastronomic landscape of Grantley Hall.
There are few places in the UK where one can stay at such a prestigious hotel with an array of exquisite dining choices like we offer.
The River Terrace at Grantley Hall is open for lunch only to both hotel guests and non-residents, and booking is required.
