Aldwark Manor Estate has opened a new £12 million wellness spa today (December 11).
Salus Spa has indoor and outdoor facilities including a 15-metre swimming pool, sauna, salt steam room, heated loungers and an outdoor hydrotherapy pool.
The spa also has a Technogym fitness suite and a movement studio offering classes ranging from group cycling to yoga and meditation.
General manager Richard Smith said:
“Our vision for Salus Spa was to create a sanctuary where guests can genuinely slow down. From the thermal journey to the mindful studio classes, every detail has been designed to help people feel restored, balanced and connected.”

The facilities are available to spa day guests, hotel residents and Salus Spa members.
Aldwark Manor Estate, which was established in 1978, is based in Aldwark, which is eight miles from Boroughbridge.
Further refurbishment, including additional bedrooms, spa treatment rooms and conference facilities, is planned for 2026.
