Parking on Allhallowgate and Victoria Grove in Ripon will be suspended from midnight tonight (June 10) until midnight on Sunday (June 15)
North Yorkshire Council signage in place on both roads states:
All parking in all bays/areas suspended to all users.
Resurfacing works on Victoria Grove are scheduled to start tomorrow evening
The suspension of parking coincides with the start of resurfacing work on Victoria Grove which is scheduled to begin tomorrow evening (June 11) and due to be completed on Monday June 16.
Resurfacing of the badly potholed road will be carried out overnight, between 7pm and midnight, to minimise disruption to businesses in the city.
The planned resurfacing of Moss's Arcade, which was due to begin on June 6, will now take place upon completion of works in Victoria Grove and will be carried out between 7pm and midnight over six nights.
During the road closure periods motorists will be able to access the Sainsbury's and Cathedral car parks via the St Marygate entrance
