It comes as North Yorkshire Police last week released a woman in her 20s who had been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice. She was released under investigation.
The news came just days after a 24-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving last week, was bailed and banned from entering North Yorkshire.
The force has urged the public not to speculate on social media to avoid prejudicing any potential future court proceedings.
