A pedestrian has been left with serious injuries after a collision on Harrogate’s Parliament Street.
North Yorkshire Police said the incident happened on Saturday (September 27) at 11.45pm.
Officers said it involved a car and a pedestrian, who is now in hospital with serious injuries. However, they are not currently believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
A police statement added:
The driver of the car, a man in his 40s, voluntarily attended custody and has been released under investigation whilst our enquiries continue.
