A person was taken to hospital today (December 23) after a two-vehicle collision in Masham.
The incident happened at 11.31am on Leyburn Road.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service’s incident report said on-call firefighters from Masham responded to the crash.
The report added:
“No people were trapped. Crews made vehicle safe using small tools. One casualty had a minor injury and was taken to hospital by family members for a precautionary check-up."
Firefighters attended another road traffic collision in Tockwith shortly afterwards.
Crews from Wetherby, Acomb and Tadcaster were called to a single vehicle incident on Westfield Road at 1.25pm.
The incident report said:
“An electric vehicle had collided with a garden wall. No persons were trapped. Crews made vehicle safe. No injuries were sustained.”
