You get two for the price of one with Rodney Towers' stunning photos of a kingfisher.
Mr Towers, who took the images last week, said:
To sit in a hide for four hours, see a kingfisher land, perch on a branch only 15 feet away, dive and suddenly reappear to perch on the same branch with a fish in its beak was a whole new visual experience for me.
As an enthusiastic photographer, to have been able to capture some of those fleeting moments with one’s own camera was nothing less than amazing and left one with the feeling of perhaps just being at the edge of Attenborough’s world.
