Plans to convert a former Ripon pharmacy into a dental surgery have been approved by North Yorkshire Council.
The change of use application was made by HG Dentistry Ltd this year.
The plans sought permission to transform premises previously occupied by Day Lewis Pharmacy at 4 Westgate, into a dental studio.
The building became vacant when Day Lewis relocated to Market Place West.
The proposals from HG Dentistry Ltd include the installation of five new windows to the side elevation, 10 solar panels to the rear east roof slope and six solar panels to the rear south roof slope.
Advertising consent was also sought for non-illuminated fascia and projecting signage including the words 'No 4 Dental Studio'
The two-storey building is set to be converted from a retail space with supporting storage and offices into multiple dental surgeries, a waiting room and reception area.
There is no planned opening date for the site currently and works are yet to begin.
